Auvitran rolls out the next generation of EtherSound products

18.09.2008

Further to the launch of ES100 OEM cards last year, Auvitran initiated the upgrade of its complete distribution products range with ES100, reliability-improved technology. Auvitran’s AVM500-ES, first in-house ES100 compliant product, marked the kick-off for the upgrade of products to ES100. Its unique full matrix capability allows to mix up to 320 x 320 channels, sourcing from five networks, either EtherSound or ES100. The release of Auvitran products in September 08 includes the company’s flagship devices, AVY16-ES100 and AVRed-ES100.

“We focused our efforts on compatibility, in order to maximize the flexibility between existing EtherSound products and new Auvitran ES100 devices”, states Yves Ansade, Auvitran Managing Director. “ES100 provides more communication flexibility and better reliability, thanks to its ability to build ring architecture, a feature that our customers requested. It also features a 3rd Ethernet port, facilitating the remote control from any device with a PC. We are very glad to offer these new features to our customers” adds Ansade.

Besides this upgrade for the complete product range, Auvitran is set to launch new AVi64- ES100 and AVx48-ES100, two new interfaces respectively for RME Product compatible with the i64 slot format and for TASCAM X48 standalone 48-track Hybrid Hard Disk Workstation. Release scheduled by the end of September 2008.

All Auvitran products are available from local Auvitran distributors or from company’s headquarters in Meylan, France.
